Building Materials & Technology Promotion Council an apex organization in the field of innovative building materials & construction technologies invites manufactures of machines, for production of blocks, bricks, pavers and other precast building components for application in housing and building construction, for being a part of the movement for promotion, development and dissemination of innovative building materials and construction technologies.

Council proposes to compile a data bank of machine manufacturers for the said components for large scale dissemination of innovative construction technologies.

The Council is interested to promote the use of information technology in the field of construction sector for increasing productivity through development and promotion of various software products, by organising seminars and training sessions jointly with other organisations.              Council is looking for a service response within 4 hours from the complaint.    The proposal should have all details about labour charges, on-site service, parts covered etc., and valid proof of dealership from OEM along with list of clients.

            The sealed quotation, addressed to the Chief - Building Materials, should reach the Council on or before 22^nd October 2005 by 1700 hrs.

The Council is in the process of upgrading its EPABX system at its office located at first floor, G-Wing, Nirman Bhavan. The existing EPABX System in the Council is of  M/s Meltron model MELTEL412 KTS.

Council is looking for a system, catering to the need of 4 Trunk Lines with 12-16 extensions with upgradable options. You are requested to send the price proposal of a system having the configurations as per requirement.

The proposal should have all possible options about digital extensions, analog extensions, cost of digital & analog instruments, cost of cabling, delivery period, warranty/guarantee periods, valid proof of dealership from OEM, list of clients  etc. The proposal should also include the buy-back  price of existing EPABX System.

The sealed quotation, addressed to our Executive Director, BMTPC, G-Wing, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi - 110 011 should reach the Council on or before 26^th September 2005 1700 hrs.

The Executive Director, BMTPC, reserves the right to accept or cancel the offer wholly or partly without assigning any reason thereof.

BMTPC envisages to establish ‘Technology Demonstration and Diffusion Centers’ in various States for production of Fly Ash Bricks, Concrete blocks, Pavers Tiles and other precast RC elements for application in Housing and Buildings sectors.

Accordingly it has been decided that a Market survey is to be conducted by the Council for establishing such Centers. The Terms of Reference for such a Market Study are summarized in the following lines:-

1. Housing scenario in the respective State encompassing the details on Status of Housing and Building Construction, State level Housing schemes and implementation mechanism, Socio Cultural aspects, living conditions, Leading Housing Agencies Govt./Public/Private in the State etc.

2. Prevailing scenario of the precast building components in the State including status of existing Production/Building Centers, their locations, type and scale of production, market catered to etc.

3. Identification of the locations of the Technology Demonstration and Diffusion Centers including details on infrastructural availability, production capacity, technology interventions, pricing strategy, market command areas, financial viability etc. Availability of raw materials & industrial/agricultural resources and their level of utilization in the Building Material Sector, distances, transport costs etc.

4. Consumer (including Government/Public agencies) preferences and acceptability of the precast building components with regard to the type of components, price, specifications, ease of application etc.

5. Identification of the market segments and potential thereof.

6. Prevailing taxation regime in the State and existence of any fiscal incentives for such centers or building components.

7. Preferred strategies for distribution channels.

8. To suggest policy interventions, if any, that would be needed to start/operate such Centers.

9. To evaluate the perceptions of the stakeholders about such proposed Centers.
10. Demand Survey for Precast elements, bricks, blocks, pavers, walls/roofing/ flooring panels, tiles, their sizes & rates etc.
11. The firm/institution/research body should submit its corporate profile indicating the expected remuneration for rendering its services, area of work etc. The Council reserves the right to reject any offer without assigning any reason whatsoever.

The Council has produced 23 video films on various topics for dissemination purpose on VHS cassettes.. The Council is in the process of converting these films on to VCD formats. Offers are invited from reputed firms for following works

Sealed Quotations are invited for appointment of Statutory Auditors (Chartered Accountants) for Building Materials & Technology Promotion Council for the year 2004-05. The firm should be registered with the Comptroller & Auditor General of India and have experience of not less than three years in handling government audits/accounts. The firm should also submit its company profile indicating the expected remuneration for rendering its services, job profile, manpower etc. The offer should reach BMTPC before 30^th June 2004. The Council reserves the right to reject any offer without assigning any reason whatsoever. 

Sealed Quotations are invited for establishment of  Training Centre at Nirman Bhawan. The work involves interior work of 3500 sq. ft area. Estimate cost of the Work is Rs 7.00 lakhs. Quotation No DP/Nirman/IF/001/Training/2004-05. Details of the Work can be collected from our office.
