To disseminate the use of modern, green, and innovative building materials and technologies for sustainable quality housing under PMAY-U 2.0, BMTPC has launched a new Webinar Series on “Innovative Building Materials and Technologies for Thermally Comfortable Green Buildings.”
In this series, the Webinar #8 was organized on August 12, 2026 from 1430 hrs to 1600 hrs. During the webinar #8 detailed presentation on "Increasing Resilience of Indian vernacular houses for Earthquakes, Cyclones and Floods in a Sustainable Way" was made by Dr. Deepak Bansal, Civil & Structural Engineer cum Disaster Management & Sustainability Professional and Regional Chief, HUDCO Jammu. More than 150 participants participated in the webinar.
The series is designed to benefit State Government Officials, Architects, Engineers, Developers, Professionals, Students and other Stakeholders involved in housing policy, planning, design and execution in the housing sector.
